Haere mai, welcome to our new trustees

The Predator Free Dunedin Trust is thrilled to welcome Gareth Hughes and Jordana Whyte as its newest trustees.

Gareth Hughes

Gareth Hughes is well-known to many, as a Green Party MP for ten years, now a party member. His work has focused on energy, protecting the environment, including our oceans, and embracing technology and innovation. Gareth was a campaigner with Greenpeace for five years before that, on issues including climate change action. From the Beehive to the Green Party’s office in Dunedin, now Kamau Taurua Quarantine Island is home. Trustees are thrilled to have the support of this talented, energetic and experienced change-maker.

Jordana Whyte

Her previous experience involves being Project Manager for the Cosy Homes Trust, as well as a background in community development and grant writing. All great experience to bring to the Predator Free Dunedin trust board.
