Potential expansion for Predator Free Dunedin

This year, we took the opportunity to imagine an expanded and intensified predator control programme across a much larger Dunedin landscape when we applied for Government Covid-19 recovery funding to create more jobs for nature and improve the environment.

Delivery teams presented their assessment of the implications to PFD members in November, to gauge their level of support for such a growth in operations.

PFD Trustees were pleased to receive broad support for an ambitious but achievable plan, and have agreed to cautiously proceed with the application.
