They include Otago Peninsula Biodiversity Group reaching mop-up stage of possum eradication on the northern half of the Peninsula, the Halo Project developing a plan to build on progress made by OSPRI in knocking down possum numbers, and research conducted by Manaaki Whenua and the University of Otago making use of latest technology to support operational planning. Backyard trappers are active and community groups across our City Sanctuary are starting work in priority reserves.
